In 1972, David Moyer auditioned as a vocalist, for Fred Warings Pennsylvanians.

They called him to hire him but he never got the call due to one of his younger sisters answering the phone and hanging up on Mr. Warings manager , Ray Sax Schroeder, because she was too busy watching The Mickey Mouse Club.

It took two more years to get another audition and this time David was hired.

Mr. Warings best friends were Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. David toured with the group from 1974 -1975 and recorded “SONG OF AMERICA,”  Fred Warings last great recording at Capitol Records.

That recording played at Paul Reveres Shrine for many years. David was a triple threat, as he sang as a choral member, as a vocal soloist, as a flautist and guitar player with the group.
